The Wat Umong (Umong temple) Meditation Centre was founded for the propagation of theoretical and practical Buddhism and for the promotion of peace to happiness among all human beings. The center was officially acknowledged as the seventh provincial meditation center in 2008 by Royal Thai Sangha Organisation.
