The Oberoi Rajvilas, is a royal resort set in a breathtaking thirty two acre oasis of beautiful landscaped gardens and exotic birdlife. Built around an 18th century Shiva temple which affords chanting with a Hindu priest, meditation and morning yoga, The Oberoi Rajvilas is a haven of mystical peace and natural serenity.
Traditional techniques have been used to replicate the famous pink lime plaster walls of Jaipur, throughout the resort. Also adorned with Mughal arches, gold leaf frescoes, high domed ceilings and magnificent crystal chandeliers, The Oberoi Rajvilas epitomises traditional Rajasthani charm and Oberoi luxury.
Rooms
Our rooms are laid out in small clusters that afford privacy for couples, and convenience for families or small groups wishing to stay near one another. Each cluster unfolds onto a courtyard crowned with a traditional fountain and framed by natural canopies abundant with native flowers.Spread over thirty two acres, our rooms can be reached on foot or in a golf buggy. Should guests wish to walk, pathways are well sign posted and fitted with telephones that connect to reception.
Kohinoor Villa
The Kohinoor boasts a fantastic entrance flanked by sandstone watchmen, which leads into a secluded, private oasis, crowned by an azure pool and a Mughal inspired dining pavilion. Guests can relax in the living room, or take a seat at the dining table under the watchful eye of Lord Ganesh, the elephant God.
Covering a vast 11,377 square feet (1057 square metres), the Kohinoor includes three detached buildings and a private garden with 18 metres (60 feet) swimming pool, private dining pavilion and stage. The buildings are divided between an ensuite master bedroom with lounge, ensuite twin guest bedroom, and separate lounge cum dining space.
Luxury Villa
The Luxury Villa features a charming private swimming pool, ornamented with fountains and rich azure tiles. Overlooking the pool from its elevated position on a canopied sandstone pavilion, is a four-seater teak table for private dining. Inside, the rooms are furnished with raw silk, organza and traditional wall frescoes.
Spread over 3820 square feet (355 square metres), the Luxury Villa includes a master bedroom with four-poster bed, bathroom with a sunken, Italian marble bathtub and separate shower. Raw silk armchairs sit in the living room and the bright, chic dining room is adjacent to the pantry. This villa includes a dedicated personal butler.
Royal Tent
Our Royal Tent is reminiscent of the stately caravans that traversed the Rajasthani desert during the time of the British Raj. Traditional in design, this tent is equipped with air-conditioning and canopied with weather resistant fabrics to ensure a stay which is both charming and comfortable.
The Royal Tent encompasses two separate canopied areas and private garden, secluded within a traditional mud wall. One tent contains the master bedroom, with four-poster bed and ensuite bathroom, while the other holds the living room and dining area, with six-seater dining capacity.
Luxury Tents
Our Luxury Tents are air-conditioned and triple canopied with weather and heat resistant materials to ensure a temperate atmosphere is maintained within. The interior of the canopy is decorated with traditional Rajasthani hand block printing, woven with gold thread and hung with regal tassles.
The centerpiece of the Luxury Tent is a grand, king size bed, framed by handwoven rugs on polished teak floors. For guests’ privacy, each tent is situated within a traditional mud wall enclosure, which also houses a private garden and patios where they may relax or enjoy private dining.

Guests may look out across our grounds from the window, or soak in the bath while admiring views of their private walled garden. Set in thirty two acres of lush tropical flora, with unspoilt views in every direction, it is easy to forget that The Oberoi Rajvilas is only twenty minutes from central Jaipur.
Decorated with natural fabrics, in a neutral palette, our Premier Rooms are cool, calm spaces in which guests will feel instantly relaxed. Each is furnished with a canopied four poster bed, a vanity table, a walk in wardrobe, a bone inlay teak personal bar, dresser and a writing desk.
